ولد في بغداد، كاتب وباحث وصحفي. بدا الكتابة والنشر عام ١٩٧٢ عمل في هيئة تحرير صحيفة (طريق الشعب) التابعة للحزب الشيوعي ومجلة (الفكر الجديد) وعضو هيئة تحرير مجلة المنتدى الثقافي. له مساهمات واسعة في الكتابة بالصحف والمجلات العراقية والعربية. له عدة إصدارات. اصدر مجلة الأيام عام ٢٠٠١ في سوريا -دمشق.
